The Parish Council is made up of 13 Councillors who have either been elected or co-opted and their current term of office ends in May 2023.
Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of the full Parish Council which are held on the second Tuesday of each month except August in the St John's Church Centre, Main Road Southbourne at 7.00 p.m. The public may speak about any matter relating to the business of the Parish Council in the "Open Forum" of those meetings.
Members of the public are also welcome to attend meetings of the Planning Committee that are held on a Thursday usually over a three-week cycle (allowing for public holidays) at the St John's Church Centre, Main Road, Southbourne at 6.30 p.m. The public may comment on planning applications before the Committee in the "Open Forum" of those meetings.

The Parish office in the Village Hall is usually open to the public from 9-12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At other times the office can be contacted by telephone on 01243 373667 or by e mail to the Clerk to the Council.
